What We Do

Trim Sustainable Energy Community (Trim SEC) is a volunteer group dedicated to increasing quality of life for the people of Trim through energy efficiency projects. Through our partnership with the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland, we can help retrofit homes and businesses to a B2 BER standard, improve transport in Trim, and decrease our town’s reliance on fossil fuels. 

We and our partners take care of logistics for all projects, making it easier than ever for our town’s homes, businesses, and community buildings to improve their energy efficiency. 

We have now completed the Energy Master Plan for Trim. We welcome ideas from the community! We will also continue working with Dunleer’s Energy Team to carry out residential retrofits here in Trim.
